An Immersive Underwater-Themed Experience Brings Cybersecurity Vision to Life

The Opportunity

Synack, renowned for its cutting-edge security testing platform, set out to make a bold impact at Black Hat 2023. With a mission to demonstrate their expertise in navigating the intricate landscape of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, Synack aimed to create ahigh-impact exhibit that would both highlight their technology and provide attendees with a captivating, unforgettable experience.

The Approach

To bring this vision to life, we designed an underwater-themed exhibit that transformed Synack’s booth into a “deep-sea” cybersecurity adventure. Using aquatic-inspired materials, dynamic lighting, caustic ripple effects, and ambient soundscapes, we crafted an environment that fully immersed visitors in Synack’s world of vulnerability exploration. The exhibit featured key elements such as a theater, interactive demo stations, a live aquarium, LED walls, and a welcoming deck—all reinforcing Synack’s message of “diving deep” into cybersecurity. The open floor plan allowed access from all sides, encouraging seamless exploration, interaction, and engagement.

The Takeaway

Synack’s exhibit made a powerful impression at Black Hat 2023, drawing attendees into an immersive space for hands-on demos, live presentations, and memorable engagements. Visitors explored “the Cave” to gain insights into critical vulnerabilities, attended live demonstrations, and enjoyed branded refreshments and giveaways. This collaboration between Synack and ProExhibits demonstrated how themed, experiential design can elevate brand impact, solidifying Synack’s position as a leader in cybersecurity innovation.
