Direct Travel Unveils 'Avenir' Platform at GBTA 2024 with Stunning Wave-Inspired Exhibit Designed for Engagement and Interaction

The Opportunity
Direct Travel approached us with ambitious goals: debuting their new platform, “Avenir by Direct Travel,” while maintaining the warm, inviting atmosphere. Direct Travel envisioned a booth with a “Wave” aesthetic, requiring a modern yet welcoming design with ample demo areas to accommodate their expanding product lineup.
The Approach
We crafted a booth that seamlessly blendshigh-end design with functional elements. The centerpiece was a large, curved LED video wall, a first for Direct Travel, which embodied dynamic energy. We addressed their need for multiple demo areas by creating eight semi-private lounges, each with edge-lit acrylic accents and custom divider walls. The booth also featuresa welcoming reception desk, a custom hanging sign that doubled as a chandelier, and wooden slat accents around the semi-private conference room, all complemented by a warm palette of natural wood finishes and touches of greenery.
The Takeaway
The result was a stunning exhibit that exceeded expectations. The layout allowed for seamless flow, inviting visitors from all angles while providing private, intimate spaces for meaningful client interactions. The strategic use of lighting and materials not only captured the desired aesthetic but also enhanced theoverall functionality of the booth. Our design and build contributed to their success at GBTA 2024, helping them effectively introduce “Avenir by Direct Travel” to a broader audience.
